Fireplace-Fitters.co.uk is a family business specialising in the fitting and servicing of fireplaces, fire surrounds, fires, media walls and stoves – gas, solid fuel and electric. We also supply and fit chimney liners, twin wall flue systems, chimney fans, pots and cowls. Our services are available to the general public, manufacturers, retailers (both Internet and showroom based), design companies, interior designers and building contractors.
We are based in Great Yeldham in Essex from where our fitting teams cover London, Bedford, Berkshire, Cambridge, Essex, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Middlesex, Suffolk and Surrey (other areas by request, please contact us to check our availability).
Our History
In 2002, Following a 20 year career in manufacturing fires, Richard started a gas fire installation company working alongside B&Q. Since then the company has progressed to be The Fireplace Fitters Company Ltd. and includes Gas Safe Registered, HETAS engineers and full time office staff that offer friendly customer service and support.
In addition to having many satisfied customers who have contacted us via this website, we also work with some of the biggest names in the industry. Our partners include manufacturers such as Gazco and Stovax; retailers like Victorian Fireplaces, Direct Fireplaces, Direct Stoves, Fireplaces R Us, removal and Fireplace Superstore and design companies and building contractors across the south of England.
We continue to take a leading role in the industry – we have appeared on ITV’s “60 Minute Makeover” twice and we have been asked to appear in various trade journals e.g. the front page feature that Registered Gas Engineer (Gas Safe) ran on us in January 2010.
